Chinese Gender Predictor

The Chinese Gender Calendar is considered one of the oldest methods for predicting the gender of an unborn baby. It is also one of the simplest, where the only necessary information is the mother's age at conception and the month of conception.

How accurate is it? It is believed to be approximately 75% accurate (3 out 4 chance it will be correct).
Mother's Age At Conception:
Be sure to select the age you were when conception occured (this will likely be the day you ovulated).
Month of Conception:
Select the month when conception occured. This will likely be the day you ovulated. If you do not know your exact ovulation date, you can use the "average" and add 14 days to the first day of your last menstrual period. Keep in mind if you are estimating the prediction will not be as accurate.

Note: A common idea is that the Chinese Gender Calendar should be based on lunar cycles, as per the agricultural calendar (yin-yang-li). But since the Chinese Gender Calendar has its roots in astrology, which is based on the sun's movement around the zodiac, perhaps it makes more sense to use solar calendar dates. In fact, the research on this site shows that the highest accuracy is achieved when western dates (in accordance with the Gregorian calendar) are applied. In other words you don't need to convert birth dates and conception dates into other calendar systems.
