Well, this is a very unlikely situation. Because this is the job if a doctor to describe you what he sees on the monitor of an ultrasound test, and not your tast to jump onto conckusions with whatever is it that you interpret. For your k8nd information, the black gestational sack is your babt, and the surrounding shadowy thing is the uterine wall where the baby us attached. Twins are very clear to see because the black sac are visible.

there is just one gestational sack (thats the black thing)
left of it is just uterine lining of varying density
your baby is the wee thing measured by the dashed line (and it needs this whole empty black space around it to grow)

I don't understand. Did no one discuss your u/s with you at your dr's office after you had it?
