Q: Gaining weight too fast?

I am only 15 weeks (tomorrow) and have already gained 10-13 pounds (not sure because of natural daily fluctuations). I feel like this is much too much too fast. I don't look incredibly different but I do look pregnant now I think. I work out on average just 2 times a week so I need to increase that. Has anyone else been alarmed by rapid weight gain early on in pregnancy? This is my first so these experiences are completely new to me. I surely don't want to gain beyond the required normal amount though. Just wondering if sometimes it comes on earlier and then slows down the rest of pregnancy. I can't afford to gain a pound a week for the whole rest of my 25 weeks!

I would just like to say, "don't worry about your weight gain". No 2 people are the same and the numbers to gain are basically a guide. In my 1st pregnancy I had gained only 26lbs but I was 26-27 years old. My metabolism was just great then and I lost the baby weight withing the 1st 2 weeks after delivering him. My 2nd pregnancy I gained more than I should have in the 13 weeks and had a MC. At that point found out I had hypothyroidism that caused the mc and the massive weight gain. My last pregnancy I gained fast in the beginning but it leveled off in the 3rd trimester (I gained 38lbs). Just keep fit like you are and allow yourself to cheat once in a while. The weight is only temporary. BTW, my last pregnancy, my doc didnt seem concerned with the weight gain because I still have a good body mass. No need to stress yourself out over your weight.
