Q: Early maternity leave

I've had to start maternity leave at 30 weeks due to continued illness in my pregnancy, I'm feeling a bit useless at home while
My partner goes out to work! Did anyone else have to take early maternity leave or feel this way? It feels very strange not working even though I've been told to rest, don't really know what to do with myself!

Hello beautiful ladies,
Congratulations to you first. It is totally normal to be feeling sick a little early than most of the woman. Every woman has different endurance and body situations. I can understand you being anxious, you can always start up with work from home, like online content writing or tuition.
take care and have fun :)

It's an adjustment going from working every day to being home all day. You will get used to it. Once baby is here you won't feel so useless! As HzlGreenEyes said, take it easy and rest up because baby's health is most important. Best wishes.

Medical reasons! Take it easy! You may feel useless when it comes to house work, but remember this is for the safety of you and baby. Try not to worry about anything else... I know easier said than done. I have not gone through what you are going through, but I have had friends who have. Good Luck!
